Vadodara-based Kriton Weld Equipments Pvt Ltd has received the "Best MSME Award for Innovation in Industries" from the Gujarat government. The award was received by Mr Vishal Purohit, Managing Director of the company at the hands of Mr Saurabh Patel, Industries Minister, Government of Gujarat, in Ahmedabad recently.

Kriton has manufactured various types of 'coil joining welding machines' of latest and customer-friendly designs for steel making and processing industries. Various capacities and types of models are available with automation. They include, but are not limited to, overlap seam welders, limited overlap seam welders and C-frame mash seam welders for coils. Besides various types of sheet-shears, side-guides, notchers, looper rollers all with facility for compact sheet coil weld plants are manufactured as per customers' requirements.

Kriton has supplied hundreds of such equipment to various steel industries in as many as 30 countries throughout world. The efforts of the Kriton research team of engineers and their achievements have been recognised by the Gujarat government with this coveted award.

Since 1973, Kriton has manufactured over a hundred types of models in various capacities in arc welding and resistance welding equipments. The company has two manufacturing units at GIDC, Makarpura, Vadodara GIDC, Por-Ramangamdi respectively, with complete manufacturing and testing facilities. All Kriton welding machines are strictly manufactured as per ISS/RWMA (USA) standards, incorporating latest technological developments and controls with highest order of quality and performance.
