iNVERGY India Pvt Ltd has inaugurated India’s largest Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Giga Factory in Dasna, Uttar Pradesh, on 30?May?2026. The fully automated facility spans 217,000?square feet and has an annual manufacturing capacity of 3?GWh.

The factory will produce advanced BESS units, LiFePO4 battery packs, solar inverters and integrated energy storage solutions for residential, commercial, industrial and utility?scale renewable energy projects. It features cutting?edge technologies including AI?driven Battery Management Systems, IoT?enabled remote monitoring, automated production lines and advanced quality control systems to ensure reliability, safety and performance.

Set up with an investment exceeding Rs 2 billion, the plant aligns with India’s push to strengthen domestic manufacturing and reduce dependence on imports amid accelerating renewable energy deployment and grid modernisation.

The inauguration follows a strong financial year for GP Eco Solutions India Ltd, INVERGY’s parent company, which reported consolidated revenue of Rs 4.18?billion in FY?2025?26, a growth of about 69?per?cent year?on?year, and net profit of Rs 0.401?billion compared with Rs 0.10?billion in FY?2024?25.

Deepak Pandey, Founder and Managing Director, iNVERGY, said the commissioning of the BESS Giga Factory is a commitment to India’s sustainable future and will support the nation’s renewable energy adoption while contributing to “Make in India” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat” goals. The facility is also expected to generate significant direct and indirect employment and position Uttar Pradesh as a key hub in India’s advanced energy storage manufacturing map.
