DMG will mark the beginning of the trade fair season with the arguably largest in-house exhibition in the world at Deckel Maho Pfronten GmbH from the 1st to the 5th of February 2011. The in-house exhibition will particularly focus on the future subject of flexible complete machining with turning and milling and milling and turning machines, and 5 axis technologies from Gilde-meister and Deckel Maho.

The world premiere DMU 85 mono-BLOCK? will be exhibited as an example of this. This innovative machine from Deckel Maho extends the future-orientated monoBLOCK? concept of the new generation to the area of larger workpiece dimensions. In addition, the world premiere DMU 80 eVo linear will be presented to trade experts for the first time. Its optimised gantry design offers maximum performance and speed in all axes.

The impressive turning and milling centre CTX delta 4000 TC and the Mega milling centre DMU 600 P will be presented at the XXL event, which will take place at the same time as the in-house exhibition. Visitors will be informed in detail about the impressive possibilities offered by these two new developments. The new XXL turning and milling centres CTX delta 4000 TC and CTX delta 6000 TC complement DMG's range in the area of 6 side complete machining up to a turning length of 6 m and underscore the unique full-line company's status in the area of turning technology. The DMU 600 P supplements the existing gantry series for workpieces up to 40 t in the higher range and, thanks to its unique design features, high flexibility and outstanding process performance parameters, will revolutionise the market for large part machining, such as in toolmaking and mould construction for the automobile industry.

At the Gildemeister Group's largest production site, more than 5,000 trade visitors are expected from all over the world and will experience a total of 65 machine highlights in action and a varied programme of seminars, promising an impressive start to the new trade fair season.
