Hyquip diversified into manufacture of "Processing machinery of municipal solid waste" in the year 2002 as it envisaged a huge potential in this field as the Ministry of Environment and Forests has drawn up MSW-2000 rules under the instructions of the Supreme Court making it mandatory for all municipalities to scientifically process the garbage to avoid contamination of land.

Hyquip through in-house research has indigenously developed machinery including trommels, chain belt conveyors, shredders, air density separators, bailing machines for RDF, de-stoners and dust extraction systems to offer plants to match global standards at sustainable cost.

The company has successfully installed number of turnkey plants and has emerged as the leader in processing technologies of waste to compost and RDF as well as waste to energy in technical tie up with Hitachi Zosen of Japan.

The company with its years of experience provides consultancy services to municipal bodies as well as state government for "integrated municipal solid waste management" right from door to door collection, transportation, processing and landfill.

The diversification program extends to solar power and its integrated approach involves all aspects of solar system including design, installation and maintenance by highly trained professionals till its life time, offering a sustainable solution to the project promoter.

Hyquip roof top installations are carefully designed considering shadow analysis, with modular self-loading mounting structures to avoid civil works and also enable maximum energy production from limited roof area.

With the excellent track record of its products and services in the domestic market, the company explored global markets and it has been very encouraging with successful installations in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Lebanon, Niger, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The company plans to achieve 20% of its turnover through exports by the year 2018.
