Can you briefly introduce Festo India and its offerings?

Industries are increasingly looking for connected systems that offer predictive maintenance, real-time monitoring, improved productivity, and reduced energy consumption.

Festo is actively supporting these trends through smart automation solutions, intelligent motion technologies, digital maintenance tools, and energy-efficient products. Our innovations focus on enabling flexible and modular manufacturing environments while helping customers optimise operational efficiency and sustainability.

Could you highlight key innovations or launches from the past two years?
Over the last few years, Festo has introduced several advanced automation solutions focused on performance, connectivity, and sustainability. Key innovations include intelligent valve terminals, compact electric automation systems, advanced servo motion solutions, remote I/O platforms, and energy-efficient pneumatic technologies.

Festo has also strengthened its offerings for semiconductor and electronics manufacturing applications with high-precision automation solutions designed for demanding production environments.

On the digitalization front, the company continues to expand smart maintenance and condition monitoring solutions that help customers improve machine uptime and operational reliability. Festo supports customers throughout the digital customer journey - from product selection and sizing to order placement.

What are your plans for INTEC 2026?
At INTEC 2026, Festo India plans to showcase a state-of-the-art seamless automation technologies and solutions designed to enhance productivity, flexibility, and sustainability in industrial operations.

Visitors can expect to experience live demonstrations of electric automation solutions, Pneumatic systems, motion control technologies, handling systems, digital automation concepts and training systems. 

INTEC 2026 provides an excellent platform for engaging with customers, industry professionals, OEMs, system integrators, and academic institutions. Festo aims to strengthen industry collaborations, demonstrate innovation capabilities, and support customers in their digital transformation journey.

What are Festo India’s near-term growth plans?
Festo India continues to focus on long-term growth through innovation, localisation, customer engagement, and skill development initiatives. The company is strengthening its automation portfolio with advanced electric automation, digital solutions, and sustainable technologies to address evolving industry needs.

Future growth plans include expanding presence in emerging industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, electronics, EV manufacturing, and smart factories. 
Festo India is also focused on enhancing customer support capabilities, strengthening channel partnerships, and driving application-specific solution development.

Festo India inaugurated the new Global Production Centre (GPC) in Hosur last year to serve Indian customers and support exports. Recently, Festo India opened the Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bengaluru - a strategic milestone in Festo’s global growth journey. The GCC will act as a hub for advanced engineering, digital solutions, software development, data analytics, and process excellence, providing support to Festo’s operations worldwide.
