The 4th International Electric Products and Technology Show concludes successfully

ELPROTECH Bangladesh 2010 - the 4th International Electrical Products & Technology Fair held between September 22 and 25, 2010 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre, Dhaka, concluded successfully with high quality visitor turnout as well as good business enquiries for participation from within Bangladesh as well as from India. Nearly 100 companies including 20 from overseas participated in the event, which attracted high quality focused 3800 business visitors over 4 days.

The Bangladesh Electrical Merchandise Manufacturers Association (BEMMA), jointly with Ask Trade & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, organised the fourth edition of this premium event an international electrical products and machinery and raw materials tradeshow, covering machinery and raw materials for electrical merchandise products manufacturing and electrical products merchandise, electric power automation, electric power construction, electric factory energy conservation and emission reduction and products related to electrical engineering, etc.

It was a platform created for Bangladesh Electrical Merchandise Manufacturers to showcase their capabilities to the fast growing domestic industry and for the international manufacturers of Machinery and Raw materials, Technology & Consultancy providers to showcase their products for the industry in Bangladesh for sourcing raw materials, technology as well as the machinery involved in the manufacture of electrical merchandise.

Highlight: A Pavilion of Indian Companies

The Indian pavilion had companies representing the machinery and raw material manufacturers and suppliers. Over 20 companies from India were part of the event, some of them participating for the first time in Bangladesh.

The exhibits included products and machinery related to switchgear, energy meters, electroplating rectifiers, cables, cable ties, wiring accessories, wiring ducts, identification products, heat shrink products and cable management systems, isolation transformers, tubular stranding machine, rigid stranding machine, armouring machine, core laying up machine, armouring cum laying machine, skip stranders, special planetary machines for railway cables/control cables, extrusion and sheathing lines, wire drawing machines, rewinding lines, take up units, payoff units and caterpillar units, bunching machines, taping solution testing equipment drawing a good response from the local buyers. "We are happy to be associated with this prestigious fair being organised by BEMMA for the past 3 editions.

We have been able to graduate the event as an international tradeshow with the participation of companies from India and China Their participation has been certainly useful for the BEMMA members to upscale their technology, quality as well as to diversify into new product lines," said Nanda Gopal K, Director of ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd India, the joint organisers of the event.
