Elastocon, the belting division of Royal Elastomers Pvt Ltd, is set to accelerate inorganic growth and strengthen its position in the industry. Elastocon’s strategic direction is anchored in one decisive need across heavy industries: uninterrupted conveying speed. In sectors like mining and large-scale infrastructure, material flow cannot stop. Reliability is the currency, and conveyor belts must deliver minimal breakdowns and reduced carrying costs. The rising demand for both fabric-cord and steel-cord belts reflects this shift, driven by India’s accelerating infrastructure expansion.

To meet this demand, Elastocon is ramping up capabilities inorganically, while balancing growth with environmental responsibility. Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) is mandatory. As requirements expand across widths, specifications, and applications, additional facilities and advanced steel-cord integration within fabric belts are priority developments.

Elastocon has already engineered standout products such as the UHR belt PYROKING, capable of withstanding peak/flash temperatures up to 450°C and continuous temperatures up to 400°C. FIRECON MSHA delivers exceptionally high bonding strength and successfully meets the Gallery Test as per MSHA standards, reinforcing performance and safety in critical environments.

The conference on Conveyor Beltings jointly organised by IRMRI & RTC – IIT Kharagpur at IME 2025 Kolkata highlighted new avenues for innovation, growth, and emerging customer needs. With continuous learning, strong R&D, and a committed team, the company sees potential for exponential scale — 10x growth in a short horizon.
