Modern die-casting presses allow to obtain light alloy products with thin walls and complex shapes thanks to the high dynamic motion control performed by Atos high dynamics digital electrohydraulics.

Digital servoproportional cartridges, in 2- and 3-way configurations, drive high speed injection with accurate tolerances and best reliability; they are characterised by:

• Ruggedised execution to withstand the high accelerations and mechanical shocks (test up to 50 g shocks)
• Oversized design with high flow capability, up to 10.000 l/min
• Low response times (15-30 ms from 0 to 100% step command signal), and
• Digital on board electronics operating the closed loop position controls of the poppet and of the pilot valve spool, through two integral LVDT transducers.

They are also available with CANOpen, Profibus DP or EtherCAT fieldbus interfaces making easier their full integration in the machine electronic architecture and their remote diagnostic.
