What are the products you are bringing at IMTEX 2013?

We will be showcasing Digital Readout Systems and Linear Encoders manufactured in the United Kingdom.

What are the applications?

These are used in both conventional and CNC machine cutting and metal forming machines (machine tools), automation and positional feedback in general.

Why should the customer opt for these?

The linear encoders benefit from Newall's unique inductive reading technology, which allows the encoders to work under the harshest machine shop conditions. Our IP67 rated linear encoders can withstand all workshop contamination, such as coolant, oil, metal chips, shock and vibration. The warranty period of a Newall DRO system is 5 years.

How strong/effective is the after sales service?

Our products usually do not require after sales service due to the robust construction and in case a customer requires any technical and other support we have started our Bangalore, India workshop centre where initial servicing is done.

How does the cost of ownership over the life cycle compare with competition?

How is the present business environment?

The present environment is not good as the automobile and ancillary industries did not have a great year. But we expect things to improve. We are trying to work on new applications which were earlier not tried by our type of products and usually replacing other measurement products like LVDT, etc.

What are the future plans?

We are aggressive on the Indian market and plan to increase our presence from South to other regions of India in the next couple of years after which we intend to start local assembly/manufacture some line of products for the India market. We are committed to long term for the India market and we would like to be the market leader for Linear Encoders and DROs in the Indian market.
