Anhui Donghai Machine Tool Co Ltd, established in 2002, is located in the Bowang Industrial Zone, which is one of the National Spark Technological Development Zones in China. The company is located at the provincial highway, close to Nanjing Lukou Airport, making it a strategic location and convenient traffic. Situated on 130 acres with the 4000 sq.m of building area, the company has more than 300 workers - engineers and technicians - working in various departments including 28 people in the R&D. The company mainly manufactures press brakes and shearing machines with annual production capacity reaching 5000 units, and total assets exceeding USD 42 million. In quest of continuous improvement in product quality and output, as well as technology upgradation, the company has active cooperation with Hefei University of Technology and Anhui University of Technology. In recent years, it has engaged in high-end equipment manufacturing with core competitiveness, and is reckoned as a leader in the machine tool industry, combining automatic control system design, new product research and development, and equipment manufacturing on innovation platform.

The company has with independent research and development designed and manufactured guillotine hydraulic shears, WADF large hydraulic servo press brakes, single column multi-function hydraulic press brakes and framework for rapid trimming hydraulic shears. These are new design products in China and the company has won many awards, including the 7th China Technology Market Golden Bridge Award, Progress Prize in Science and Technology Enterprises, Torch Plan, and 3A Good Behaviour Company, among others. At present, the company has 30 authorised patents, including 3 invention patents. In fact it is the only company in Bowang area, which has invention patent of machine tool enterprises. It has got the affirmation of China Machine Tool Industry Association, having joined the association in 2012. At present, the company's R&D department is working on a mobile rotary head frame type hydraulic press, a new design product, which has achieved breakthrough progress, and the company drafting a patent application for related standard. It is expected to achieve sales revenue of USD 48 million in 2015, with annual production reaching 3000 units.

Over the next five years the company will continue to strengthen internal management, reduce costs, eliminate hidden trouble spots, and we will integrate the existing three branches, actively taking part in machine tool development at domestic and foreign ends. It will also augment export capacity, continue to strengthen cooperation with research institutions and universities in order to strengthen production process and introduce more talent.
