In 1985, NGL Cleaning Technology, Swiss based chemicals manufacturer, was the first company in the world to launch a process for cleaning in an aqueous medium, which incorporated hot-air drying and replaced chlorinated solvents. Hereunder is one example of this chlorinated solvents substitution, Decospray Super, an innovative and biodegradable product used at a low concentration (1 to 3 %). 

Decospray Super is a biodegradable liquid, used for cleaning or pre-cleaning of steel by spray or by ultrasonic.

Decospray Super is an effective product in the cleaning processes for automotive, aerospace, precision micromechanics, watchmaking and electronics. The application is selected through a series of laboratory tests which are supported by Swiss production validation.
