Jupiter Wagons secures Rs 100 cr contract for innovative double decker automobile carrier wagons

Jupiter Wagons, a provider of mobility solutions, announced the acquisition of a substantial contract valued at approximately Rs 100 crore. This contract pertains to the manufacturing and supply of four sets of Double Decker Automobile Carrier Wagons.

These towering Double Decker Automobile Carrier Wagons boast the capability to transport SUV editions on both the lower and upper decks. They incorporate advanced technologies such as articulated bogies, which contribute to reduced idling time through the substitution of sick wagons, as detailed in the company's statement.

Vivek Lohia, Managing Director of Jupiter Wagons, expressed gratitude for being entrusted with these cutting-edge Tallest Double Decker Automobile Carrier Wagons from a prominent automobile leader. He emphasised that this achievement not only underscores the company's manufacturing capabilities but also reaffirms its dedication to enhancing the nation's railway infrastructure. Lohia further assured that Jupiter Wagons is poised to utilise its expertise and resources to deliver wagons meeting the highest standards of quality and performance.

Highlighting the significance of this development, the company noted that these wagons represent a pioneering introduction to the Indian Railways. Designed to accommodate maximum moving dimensions, they are well-suited for the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) and comply with a substantial portion of the national railway network.
