Russia open to manufacturing in India: Putin shows interest

Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his willingness to establish manufacturing operations in India, marking a step toward strengthening bilateral economic ties. This announcement follows two meetings between Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier this year.

Addressing the 15th VTB Russia Calling Investment Forum, Putin commended India's 'India-first' policy and lauded the Indian government's efforts in fostering stable conditions for economic growth, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
