The INDEX Group, a global leader in CNC turning machines under the INDEX and TRAUB brands, inaugurated its new branch with an integrated Technology Centre at the Aerospace Park in Bengaluru on 27 February 2026. This step strengthens the company’s presence in one of Asia’s most dynamic industrial markets. Located about 15 minutes from Bengaluru Airport, the facility enables faster service response and enhanced customer support across India.

The new branch includes office space for sales, technology, applications, customer service, and administration, along with a spacious showroom featuring modern demonstration machines. The showroom will host customer events, test machining, and product presentations, significantly expanding the company’s existing capabilities. Under the leadership of Managing Director Wilson Thomas, the facility reflects INDEX’s long-term investment in India and its focus on customer proximity.

INDEX has operated in India for more than 25 years through sales and service operations. Following the establishment of INDEX Machine Tools India Pvt Ltd in 2023, the new Technology Centre has been developed to meet the growing requirements of Indian industry. The company offers a wide range of manufacturing solutions, including multi-spindle automatic lathes, universal turning machines, sliding-headstock automatic lathes, turn-mill centres, and production turning machines. Its strengths include application consulting, process optimisation, automation solutions, and service support, making INDEX a partner to companies across automotive, aerospace, mechanical engineering, electronics, and hydraulic and fluid technology sectors.
