ZEISS Industrial Quality Solutions Division has launched SPECTRUM bridge-type coordinate measuring machine (CMM). With the ZEISS SPECTRUM CMM the user will enter a new level of precision and trusted results – at an unmatched price-performance ratio. Using the latest ZEISS software, scanning sensor and machine technology, these economical systems are designed to easily handle everyday measurement applications.

 

ZEISS SPECTRUM CMM comes with unmatched scanning technology. The combination of ZEISS VAST XXT and ZEISS RDS-C5 including CAA increases the reliability and reduces operation time of measurements enormously. It also enables a wide range of measurement tasks. ZEISS PiWeb reporting plus software is also available, enabling customized measurement reporting, allowing SPECTRUM owners to deliver measurement reports in formats their customers need. PiWeb also monitors trends in key measurement results, making that information available faster so manufacturing process adjustments can be made earlier.

 

ZEISS Spectrum CMMs are available in measuring volumes from 500 x 500 x 600 mm to 700 x 1000 x 600 mm. The ZEISS C99L intelligent scanning controller is mounted on the CMM, reducing the overall footprint and required floor space. Wrap-around air bearings are used on ceramic guide-ways to provide rigidity and stability at maximum speeds and accelerations. The guide-ways are resistant to corrosion, wear and temperature. Measurement uncertainty specifications are based on an integrated system design that is calibrated to ISO 10360 standards. The company will conduct live demo at its stall (Hall 2B, Stall A-102) at IMTEX 2019.
