Juniper Green Energy is a fast growing renewable energy power producer in India. The company is dedicated to furthering government of India's vision of a sustainable India and it has yielded impressive results, leading to the avoidance of 1.2 million metric tons of CO2 emissions per year shares Naresh Mansukhani, Chief Executive Officer, Juniper Green Energy in this interview.
Can you provide a brief overview of your renewable energy production? What types of renewable energy sources does your company utilise or produce?
Juniper Green Energy is an independent renewable energy power producer and operator of solar, wind and hybrid power projects with significant experience in conceptualising, building, and developing renewable energy assets.
Juniper Green Energy, headquartered in Delhi NCR, began operations in October 2018 with team of 10 people in Gurgaon, India. Over the years, Juniper Green Energy has evolved and stabilised itself as a prominent independent renewable energy power producer and operator, having achieved a significant milestone by crossing 1.2 GW of renewable energy capacity, we currently have dedicated team of more than 200 people with in house capability of project management, design, engineering, procurement, and construction and operation of our Projects / Plants. As an Independent Power Producer (IPP), Juniper Green Energy is selective to do business with Discoms and off-taker. Our conservative approach in this volatile market has seen the company in good stead with an operational portfolio of over 800 MW and an additional 435 MW under development.
In your view, what are the most significant trends or innovations in the renewable energy sector, and how is your company adapting to them?
Innovation and technology are central to our mission, and we endeavour to remain on the cutting edge of renewable energy developments. To maximise the efficacy of our renewable energy assets, we continuously investigate and implement innovative innovations.
We are committed to expanding renewable energy assets nationwide and internationally. We strive to create a greener and more sustainable energy landscape by reducing our reliance on traditional fossil fuels.
For us, quality, safety, and environmental stewardship are non-negotiables. We adhere to the highest standards in all of our operations, ensuring that our renewable energy initiatives have minimal environmental impact.
We aspire to be a leader in renewable energy solutions, serving as a model for others to imitate. Inspiring and accelerating the adoption of renewable energy by demonstrating the efficacy and benefits of sustainable solutions is our mission.

How does your company mitigate and minimise its environmental footprint? What sustainability practices and efforts are you making towards achieving a carbon-neutral or zero-emissions goal?
We are firmly devoted to sustainability and have implemented a variety of environmentally friendly methods in our operations. We play an important role in developing the future of sustainable energy as an Independent Power Producer (IPP) focusing on solar power and infrastructure projects.
One of the important sustainable methods adopted by Juniper Green Energy is the creation of green energy from endless sources that do not emit carbon or hurt the environment. We considerably minimise greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution when compared to standard fossil fuels by utilising renewable energy sources such as solar power. This not only helps the environment but also improves air quality, improving human and animal health and well-being.
Sustainability is closely tied to green energy since both aim to preserve the environment and mitigate the consequences of climate change.
At Juniper Green Energy, we are deeply committed to building a sustainable and equitable future for all. Our focus is on contributing to a low-carbon economy, making significant strides in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and conserving valuable resources through our renewable energy projects and initiatives.

What are some of your future plans?
Juniper Green Energy is a solar, wind, and hybrid power project developer and operator with extensive expertise in designing, creating, and developing renewable energy assets. The firm is a part of the AT Capital Group, which has a $2.4 billion asset portfolio composed of global assets in renewable energy, residential and commercial real estate, hotels, and other sectors. The Group has been developing utility-scale renewable energy projects in India since 2010, and previously developed and controlled Orange Renewable, a 1GW renewable energy platform.
