Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd, a leading Indian manufacturer of solar solutions and EV chargers, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a 27 per cent post-money stake in Rhine Solar Limited, a reputed ALMM-approved PV module manufacturing firm based in New Delhi. This strategic investment represents a pivotal development in Servotech’s long-term plan to broaden its renewable energy footprint and reinforce its presence as a holistic solar solutions provider.

The move embeds Servotech within the core of the PV module manufacturing industry. By capitalising on Rhine Solar’s advanced infrastructure, its ALMM-accredited facility, and extensive experience in solar panel production, Servotech is well-positioned to establish large-scale solar panel manufacturing operations in India. Rhine Solar currently has a 100 MW production capacity, with plans to scale up to an ambitious 600 MW by next year. This planned growth is expected to address rising domestic demand for premium solar panels and elevate Servotech’s role in the global solar arena.

Raman Bhatia, Managing Director of Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd., remarked, “This acquisition marks a major milestone as we progress towards becoming a fully integrated solar solutions company. With this, we formally enter the solar panel manufacturing space. It reflects our commitment to sustainable expansion and aligns with our green energy vision. A key focus area will be producing next-gen N-type TOPCon 12 busbar panels, noted for higher efficiency and global demand due to their performance and reliability. Through this, we aim to fast-track India’s solar manufacturing momentum, lessen import reliance, and support the government’s clean energy and ‘Make in India’ ambitions.”

This acquisition is a strategic alignment that enhances Servotech’s existing strengths in solar and EV charging solutions. It allows for improved supply chain control, ensures strict quality standards, and strengthens its ability to deliver comprehensive and cost-effective offerings. The integration is expected to boost operational efficiency, drive innovation, and reinforce Servotech’s leadership in the industry.

Servotech Renewable Power System Limited (previously Servotech Power Systems Ltd.) is an NSE-listed company offering tech-enabled EV charging solutions, drawing on over two decades of electronics expertise. It provides a broad portfolio of AC and DC chargers compatible with various EVs for both commercial and residential applications. With robust engineering capabilities, Servotech is committed to shaping India's EV technology landscape. Known for innovation and nationwide presence, it continues to lead in delivering advanced technological solutions.
