Power sector key to India’s growth: Union Minister at ELECRAMA 2025

India is poised to become the world’s third-largest economy by 2027 and a developed nation by 2047, with the power sector driving this transformation, Union Power Minister Manohar Lal said. Speaking at ELECRAMA 2025 in Greater Noida, he emphasised the Modi government’s focus on energy security, grid modernisation, and sustainability to support India’s development goals.

Organised by the Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA), the five-day event showcases India’s capabilities in power technologies and strengthens its position as a global leader in energy innovation. Running until February 26, ELECRAMA 2025 provides a platform for policy discussions, business collaborations, and technology showcases, with high-impact B2B meetings and global partnerships in the energy sector.

The event saw participation from top industry leaders, including Olivier Blum, CEO, Schneider Electric, Matthias Rebellius, CEO, Siemens Smart Infrastructure,  Sunil Singhvi, President, IEEMA , Vikram Gandotra, Chairman, ELECRAMA 2025 and Siddharth Bhutoria, Vice President, IEEMA.
