Meiban Engineering Technologies Pvt Ltd, an associate company of Murata Machinery Limited, Japan, a leading manufacturer of CNC machines with high end technology was started in 2004 along with Murata Machinery Limited. The company is a solution provider in the field of automation and turnkey projects for manufacturing automobile and Sheet metal components. Meiban serves with Muratec high end automated twin spindle chuckers for manufacturing automotive components, hydraulic components and bearing components. The company supplies and services sheet metal machines, which include CNC servo turret punch presses of various capacities, punching and shearing machines, and panel benders.

While the company is based in Bangalore, it has Sales & Service branch offices in Chennai, Delhi and Sales and Service representatives in Mumbai. All sales and service engineers are factory trained to support the customer with technical and application information. The 28-member strong team includes10 factory trained engineers for pre-sales application and after sales service support along with specialists exclusively to support CAD/CAM for sheet metal application. Factory trained agent’s engineers are available with the partner to serve customers better. With the addition of a technical centre in Bangalore, the company is now able to do trials and demos on live machines for potential customers. It undertakes local turnkey in India – total solution is turning machine with loader plus peripherals and options to achieve full automation for unmanned operations on 24x7 basis.

What are the products you are bringing at IMTEX Forming?

We are displaying the latest AC Servo 30-tonne Turret Punch Press Motorum-3048TG and the all Electric Press Brake BB 4013.

Is there any new product or technology being introduced?

The 30-tonne punching machine incorporates the latest press drive system with twin ball screw table for better accuracy and vibration free punching.

What is the USP?

Our main theme for this IMTEX is “Green machines for Clean Environment” with very less running cost.

How is present business environment?

Slowly getting better and we see many new customer enquiries in the last six months.
