Tell us something about your company in terms manufacturing facilities, capacity, products manufactured, end-user industries served, exports, etc.
OMRON Automation – India, caters to varied industrial applications encompassing the wide requirements of packaging, automotive, material handling, food & beverages, medical, digital, infra and panel building applications. The company is focusing on the solution business, including Robotics and IIoT, providing “One Stop” solutions to improve the overall efficiency on diverse production sites. Focusing on the themes of quality, safety and the environment, it supports manufacturing innovation with its unique sensing & control technologies and caters to customers across the country via its strong network of offices, application, service and sales engineers supported by an automation technology centre (for demos and PoCs), training centres as well as channel partners to address the ever- challenging requirements.

How is your organisation helping manufacturers adopting digitalisation and Industry 4.0?
As enablers to help the manufacturers make products of global quality in India, OMRON with its advanced portfolio of Input, Logic, Output, Robotics & Safety industrial automation solutions is powering the manufacturers turn their factories smarter and connected by helping them cope up with their biggest challenges like reducing downtime, decreasing frequency of sudden failures, improving changeover efficiency and real-time data based predictive maintenance.
