What do you believe are the most significant challenges facing the electrical industry right now? How is ELECRAMA addressing the same?
India is facing a healthy growth in demand of electricity and increased use of renewable sources to meet this. There are also newer loads like electric mobility and data centres.  This is also true in most of the countries across the world. This requires a growing smart grid infrastructure which is very robust and more intelligent than before. This needs very reliable equipment like transformers, circuit breakers, etc. with a very large number of sensors/smart meters and specialised software tools for forecasting and grid management. Safety and reliability of the network elements is paramount.
These factors are leading to a high growth in the demand of high quality and intelligent electrical equipment. To meet this growth the industry has geared up by increasing capacities, overcoming supply chain constraints, improving skillsets, etc. ELECRAMA 2025 addresses these by showcasing innovations in new areas such as HVDC, FACTS, Energy storage, sustainable manufacturing, energy efficiency, Smart Metering and EV charging technologies. ELECRAMA provides an invaluable platform for the industry and all stakeholders to learn and strategize their next steps in this journey.

How is ELECRAMA helping to shape the future?
ELECRAMA is shaping the future by driving innovation, sustainability, and global collaboration in the electrical sector. It showcases advanced technologies, fosters startups, and promotes integration of green energy. By uniting global stakeholders and supporting ‘Make in India’ and ‘Viksit Bharat 2047,’ it strengthens industry growth.
