How is the market for boilers in India? 

The market for process boilers is steadily growing in India with increased emphasis/focus on the overall cost of ownership of the asset. Chemical, pharmaceutical, pesticide, food and beverage industries occupy centre stage.

 

How is your company responding to environment and energy efficiency issues?

There is indeed an increasing emphasis on environment and energy efficiency across industries. However, Forbes Marshall has always been sensitive to these aspects. Over time, we have developed products which are designed to deliver the best efficiencies and also help in minimising emissions. Industry is also becoming more conscious. Equipment to reduce emissions as per applicable PCB norms, are increasingly being included in 

the scope.

 

What are the emerging trends in the boilers industry?

As indicated above, industry is moving towards a more energy efficient approach with reduced carbon footprint. Burners with electronic compound regulation, burners with lower emissions, automatic solid fuel fired boilers in packaged construction, heat recovery, etc are buzzwords in the industry. There is also emphasis on PLC based control systems and instruments for monitoring and control of various parameters.  

 

What are your growth plans for the company's boiler business?
