What are your plans for IMTEX Forming 2018?

We are looking for more exposure. This show is a big platform for us to present our industry 4.0 solutions for the challenges of industrial production and improve competitiveness.

 

How do you analyse the current status of the metal forming industry?

The machine tool industry is the backbone of any developed nation and plays a catalytic role in driving industrialisation. The present phase is undergoing changes and it will bring a positive impact in growth and development. There is a good positive vibe in the market. With the new reforms of the government favouring the industry, I think the industry is poised for growth.

 

What types of products & services do you offer?  

We offer products such as laser cutting machines, punch presses, press brakes and shearing machines. We provide many types of laser cutting machines for every requirement – ranging from versatile fiber laser machines capable of processing thin to thick ferrous and non-ferrous materials to CO2 and tube laser cutting systems, all with performance-enhancing options.

 

Turret punch press or single head punching machine – only LVD gives you a choice. From cost-effective machines to high-speed, high-productivity systems, we offer more solutions to punch and form metal for short to long run production.

 

Our most comprehensive press brake line in the industry includes affordable bending solutions, configure-to-order multi-axis press brakes with integrated easy-form laser adaptive bending technology, as well as machines integrated with automatic tool changer and tool library.

 

We offer a full line of shearing equipment, including conventional CNC-controlled guillotine shears and custom shearing systems.

 

Which are the key industries segments that your company caters to?

We cater to industries such as automobile, power, medical, white goods, textile and agriculture.

 

How stiff is the competition in Indian metal forming industry?

There is a lot of competition. But the Indian forming industry is up to it. We have the technology and the competency to match our global counterpart. The Indian SMEs have stepped up to build more complex solutions while increasing the presence of businesses globally. Part of this desire to build more complex equipment is driven by companies who are demanding high-end technology in order to serve the demands of the industry.

 

Kindly take us through the growth journey of your company?

We are technically very sound. We have been growing steadily over the past few years. Now we are also Industry 4.0 ready.  Innovation is a core part of our DNA and we constantly challenge convention, striving to provide our customers with the latest innovative machine and software solutions to increase profit and growth. Our extensive R&D efforts are focused on providing solutions to industry-wide problems as well as individual customer applications. We are looking at a growth of 20% this year.

 

How are SMEs dealing with challenges?

Yes it is difficult for SMEs. But with the business scenario changing in India, the situation is improving. The new regulations like GST and demonetisation are supporting the SME to sustain and grow. The Make in India initiative is also helping the industry.

 

How would you describe the present status of manufacturing sector in India?

The manufacturing sector is showing a positive trend. There is some momentum in the manufacturing sector. With Make in India project, businesses are being encouraged to increase the manufacturing side of their business.

 

What are the growth plans for your company? 

We are introducing new technology. Our focus will be to address the market needs and ensure that we meet our customers’ expectations to their utmost satisfaction.
