Grauer & Weil (India) Ltd, one of the leading players in the metal ?nishing ?eld, displayed a host of specialised paints and services at the Aerospace & Defence Manufacturing Show 2019 (ADMS) held in Bengaluru from August 22-23. This is the first time the company participated in the expo.

Grauer & Weil (I) Ltd currently supplies specialised paint products for missiles like Brahmos Pinaka Rocket, HAL for Sukhoi, MIG 21, MI 17 etc. The company has also recently started exporting paints to African countries in protective coating segments, but its focus continues to be on the Indian market. Through its participation in the ADMS Expo, the company is expecting a good response from domestic as well as international consumers in the aero & defence industry.

Grauer and Weil (India) is the first chemical and paint company to have received the prestigious AS9100 Aerospace Certification accreditation. In 2016, the company, which is considered pioneers and market leaders in electroplating chemicals and metal finishing industry, was awarded the coveted certification. AS9100 is an aerospace standard based on the ISO 9001 quality system requirements. The certification now puts Grauer and Weil (I) Ltd in the elite group of companies adhering to international quality standards that offer services to marquee aerospace companies.

Grauer and Weil (I) Ltd develops all its products catering to the aerospace industry inhouse and is a front runner in the government’s ambitious ‘Make in India’ mission. Along with its current product line, the company also has various new products which are under development at its R&D for the defense and OEM industry. Company has also entered into high quality marine paints segment through its association with Transocean, Netherland, and is also planning to enter automotive re-finishes through international technical tie-ups.
