Wipro Infrastructure to set up hydraulics facility in Rajasthan

Wipro Infrastructure Engineering (WIN) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Rajasthan for setting up a manufacturing facility in the state to manufacture hydraulic cylinders and allied products. This state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is expected to come up in Jaipur with a proposed investment of Rs 200 crores and will be fully capable of meeting stringent quality requirements of global customers. Once fully functional, the facility is expected to generate about 370 direct and indirect employment opportunities.

Commenting on the MoU, Pratik Kumar, CEO, Wipro Infrastructure Engineering, said, "This will be our first hydraulics manufacturing facility in North India which will support the needs of our global customers for hydraulic cylinders and other allied products. We have more than four decades of undisputed leadership in hydraulic cylinder manufacturing and are respected by our clients globally for our capabilities and talent. With this new facility, we will be able to cater to our customers even more promptly and be flexible in meeting their demand."
