WIN INDIA 2016 opens tomorrow in Mumbai

WIN INDIA, the flagship event of Hannover Milano Fairs India Pvt Ltd, is set for a grand opening at the MMRDA Grounds, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai. The Department of Heavy Industry, Government of India, will launch Industry 4.0 at the event, which has three separate shows covering industrial automation, hydraulics & pneumatics, and warehousing & logistics.

A number of VIPs and dignitaries are expected to grace the opening ceremony, including Shri Anant Geete, Minister of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprise, GoI; Shri Subhash Desai, Industries Minister, Government of Maharashtra; Shri Girish Shankar, Secretary, Department of Heavy Industries, Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprise, Government of India; Dr Didar Singh, Secretary General, FICCI; Mr Marc Siemering, Senior Vice President, Deutsche Messe AG, Germany; and Mr Mehul Lanvers-Shah, Managing Director, Hannover Milano Fairs India.

More than 250 leading international and Indian manufacturing companies are exhibiting at this event with their latest products and technologies covering the three shows:

MDA INDIA – Motion, Drive and Automation (Hydraulics & Pneumatics, Electro-Mechanical Transmission)

Industrial Automation INDIA – Factory Automation and Process Automation

CeMAT INDIA – Materials Handling/Intralogistics, Storage Systems, Warehousing and Logistic Services.

WIN INDIA 2016, a unique destination for showcasing the relevance of Industry 4.0 to Indian manufacturing industry, will highlight India’s unrelenting march towards becoming a manufacturing powerhouse in the region. As per a recent report compiled by Nikkei and research firm Markit, the overall order booking for the Indian manufacturing sector rose to a 22-month high in October 2016.This indicates that the vital signs for the sector are truly on course and would be aptly demonstrated at the trade fairs.
