Vidya Prasarak Mandal, Thane (VPM Thane) has launched a "state-of-the-art" Engineering College, affiliated to the University of Mumbai, at Velneshwar in Maharashtra's Ratnagiri district on the Konkan coast, with AICTE approved Engineering Degree Courses.

The 35-acre Engineering College campus will have the following degree courses: Mechanical Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering; Computer Engineering; and Instrumentation Engineering. The intake capacity is 60 for each course. Salient features: state-of-the-art laboratories and library; latest wifi enabled campus; high speed internet/intranet connectivity; multi-utility complex with medical facility; international standard hostel facilities; hygienic food/mess; gymnasium, canteen and laundry; and pleasant, picturesque location.
