T?? Rheinland, a global top ten technical service provider, continues to expand its worldwide capacities for softlines testing with the opening of a new laboratory in Gurgaon. For the 1,500 square meter laboratory an investment of 1.9 million euros was made. Another 1.5 million euros are being invested in two additional softlines laboratories in Bangalore and Tirupur, India, which are slated for inauguration within the next months.

During the opening ceremony T?? Rheinland CEO Dr. Manfred Bayerlein said: "The huge Indian market for product testing is also a very important market for T?? Rheinland. This is why we invest in four laboratories in this region alone, with a laboratory in Bangladesh operational since last year and three new ones this year in India."

The softlines laboratory network of T?? Rheinland now comprises testing facilities in nine countries, offering customers the benefit of one-stop testing for global markets.
