Testo 885/890 is a thermal imager in the camcorder design. In addition to the fold-out, rotatable display, the camera also offers a rotatable handle. This allows the ideal working position for all kinds of measurements, whether it is above the user's head or at floor level. Best in its class, a display of 4.3 inch touch screen is provided in both models with different analysis function like movable areas and movable curser. This makes onscreen analysis of thermal image very simple.

Testo 885 has a detector size of 320 x 240 pixels & Testo 890 has a detector size of 640 x 480 pixels with large field of view, which enables camera to scan larger area without loss of resolution. Further to it, a facility of exchangeable lens is provided in both models so that smaller object at a far distance can be analyzed easily.

Testo 885 and 890 also offer the patent-pending Super Resolution Technology. With this technology we obtain a four times higher resolution of image with more temperature information. Both cameras come with manual as well as auto focusing feature, which helps to capture good thermal image. Temperature range is standard -20?C to 350?C and same can be extended up to 1200?C.

A further innovation is the Panorama Image Assistance. Where it is not possible to record the measurements of an object with a single image, the new Testo panorama assistance makes a total view out of several individual images. Which means you can conveniently analyze an overview of even very large objects without losing the attention to detail.

Furthermore the company offers users in maintenance the new SiteRecognition technology. Many similar measurement objects mean many similar thermal images. Previously, in order to be able to allocate the measurements clearly to the different measurement sites, users needed to keep complex lists, or add a voice commands to each individual thermal image. A patent-pending Testo innovation now solves these problems. With Testo SiteRecognition technology, measurement sites are automatically recognized and the resulting thermal images are correctly archived. This allows periodical inspection tours to be conducted efficiently.
