Messe M?nchen International's new electrical energy storage (ees) - International Trade Fair for Batteries, Energy Storage Devices and Innovative Manufacturing has received support from the leading German federations. Both the VDMA (German Engineering Federation), Productronics trade association and ZVEI (Central Association of the German Electrical and Electronics Industries) will be standing shoulder to shoulder with the new event as strong partners. The first electrical energy storage (ees) and accompanying congress will take place from 13-16 November 2012 on the Messe M?nchen site concurrently with electronica, the world's leading trade fair.

In addition to the final choice of name for the new event, Messe M?nchen International provided a further important input to the successful organisation of the event through its collaboration with the VDMA Productronics and ZVEI trade associations. AUTOMATICA, the International Trade Fair for Automation and Mechatronics, from 22 - 25 May 2012, provides a foretaste of electrical energy storage (ees) 2012, with its own special exhibition "Battery Production and Automation Technology".
