Steer Engineering, a globally acknowledged force in the polymer processing machine industry and a creator of state-of-the-art products catering to the polymer, powder coating, pharmaceutical and food processing industries, announced the appointment of Atanu Maity as President and Chief Executive Officer. In this role, Atanu will be responsible for the overall business operation, strategy and direction for the company.

Atanu joins STEER from Ingersoll Rand where he served as Head - Business Operations for Climate Solutions. Prior to this, he held the position of Sr. VP - Business Development at Sona-Koyo Steering Systems and has also held leadership position at Schlumberger which is a global leader in Oilfield services.

STEER designs, develops, manufactures, markets, sells & services co-rotating twin screw extruders, along with all its major components including gearboxes, key peripherals such as volumetric/gravimetric feeders, side-feeders, screen changers and processing section parts such as elements, barrels and shafts for customized application solutions.
