The leading automotive and industrial supplier Schaeffler India Limited demonstrated its precision engineered and localised product portfolio along with condition monitoring solutions at InnoRail India 2022 - held from November 17-19, 2022 at RDSO Stadium ground, Lucknow. One of the primary reasons for participation was to showcase technological advancements and innovations by Schaeffler for high-speed railways.

Harsha Kadam, CEO & MD, Schaeffler India, said, “We are excited to be a part of InnoRail India 2022, among key stakeholders of the railway sector from across the globe. Our solutions are engineered to tackle extreme physical conditions and maximise motion efficiency. Modernisation of railway infrastructure presents tremendous opportunity for us and our focused localisation approach is in line with the industry’s needs. We are also scaling up our digital products portfolio in order to meet the needs of reliability, safety and availability thereby increasing overall efficiency of the railway industry.”

Schaeffler will continue to invest heavily into their localisation plans to make the railway products in India. Schaeffler is also focusing at the railway export market; the necessary steps and processes are well underway to start exporting to American railways.

The mobility of tomorrow must be more sustainable, more efficient, quieter, and safer. Schaeffler is making a decisive contribution here, and has established itself as a central development partner in the field of rolling bearing solutions for high-speed rail applications.
