Sany Heavy Industry India has announced the inauguration of its fully integrated crawler crane production line. Consul General of PRC, Mr Niu Qingbao inaugurated the plant in the presence of Mr Richard Deng, MD of Sany India, and Mr T R Badarinarayan, CEO. Situated in Chakan, Sany's crawler crane production plant is set up with the vision of catering the growing needs of cranes in Indian market.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Zeng Zhihong, Director Sales of Sany Heavy Industry India Pvt Ltd, said," The plant has begun with the production of all popular models of Sany cranes in India. With this state-of-the-art plant Sany aims to achieve higher customer delight through faster delivery, better product features and wider range of optional attachments."

Further, he added that the Chakan plant would act as a substitute for import of cranes from China. "Earlier, crawler cranes were to be imported from Sany China according to customer requirements. However, consequently looking at the constant growth of crane market and products receiving higher appreciation by India customer, Sany has taken step forward to start production of cranes at its manufacturing facility at Chakan, Pune in India", he said.

Sany China holds the world record for manufacturing the world's largest crawler crane i.e. SCC86000TM (3,600T), and Sany India hopes to replicate this success soon.
