Salasar Techno Engineering witnessed a 3 per cent surge in its share price during early trade on December 4, following the acquisition of a lucrative contract valued at Rs 364 crore. The company successfully secured an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract worth Rs 364 crore from the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO). The project is slated to be executed in multiple phases over a span of 36 months.

The terms of the contract involve the supply, erection, and installation of feder segregation, a high-voltage distribution system, the separation of double distribution transformers, and the augmentation of 33KV lines.

Notably, Salasar Techno Engineering reported a substantial 21.7 per cent increase in its net profit for the September quarter, amounting to Rs 9.06 crore.
