PTC Industries, Nasmyth forge strategic partnership for Global Aerospace Solutions

PTC Industries and Nasmyth (UK) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen their collaborative endeavours, aiming to deliver advanced solutions to defence and aerospace clients on a global scale, with a specific focus on India.

This strategic partnership aligns with the 'Make in India' Atmanirbhar Bharat program, showcasing a shared commitment to supporting indigenous manufacturing. PTC Industries seeks to enhance its capabilities to better serve the specific requirements of Indian customers and execute projects more efficiently. The collaboration's primary focus will be on advancing casting, machining, assembly, and thermal precision engineering capabilities within India.

Not only does this collaboration contribute to the 'Make in India' initiative, but it also addresses the increasing demand for vertically integrated supply chain solutions. By expanding capacity in the market, the partnership aims to offer global solutions to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) looking to diversify and mitigate supply chain risks, providing opportunities for capacity growth.

PTC Industries, renowned for its cutting-edge manufacturing campus in Lucknow, stands out as a global leader in supplying high-precision metal components crucial for aerospace and defense operations. The company actively engages in various defence programs and major projects for both the Indian Government and global OEMs.

Nasmyth Asia, boasting an advanced manufacturing facility in Bangalore, complements PTC's capabilities with turnkey manufacturing and engineering solutions that surpass industry standards. Their expertise includes bespoke machining services, assembly, and system integration.

Tony Upton, CEO of Nasmyth, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, emphasising the opportunity to deliver new solutions to OEMs through joint efforts in India. Sachin Agarwal, Managing Director of PTC Industries Limited, echoed this excitement, highlighting the expanded collaboration with Nasmyth across multiple defence and aerospace projects globally, especially in applications related to aero-engines and gas turbine engines.
