Pepperl+Fuchs recently inaugurated the Indian headquarters for its Factory Automation division at Gurgaon in the National Capital Territory region of the country. Since more than two decades of its direct engagement with the Indian market, the company has come a long way in being part and parcel of imbibing the psyche and wares for automation in the manufacturing environment in India. With the opening of the new FA headquarters, the company has further reinforced its commitment to the Indian market. Mr Michael Fuchs, the co-owner and Dr Guenther Kegel, the Managing Director and CEO of the Pepperl+Fuchs group of companies inaugurated the new facility along with Mr Matthias Gunkel (FA Business head, Asia) and Mr Ingo Jannes (Director of Finance, Asia).

Dr Kegel in his inaugural address said that the new FA headquarters is a state-of-the-art facility with a well laid out office, testing, conferencing, integrated ERP and meeting facilities. This would help P+F to bring better quantum and quality of support to the market and leverage its staff to deliver its best to the customers. He said that he believes that a country of size and legacy as of India has its own dynamics and that the decade of engagement with India has been a good learning experience. All these years have helped the company to realize the true potential of India and also to develop as a company adaptable to multiple cultures. He said he was sure that the manufacturing environment in India is bound to adopt appropriate automation in times to come and that companies like Pepperl+Fuchs will have ample opportunities to participate and contribute to its positive development.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Fuchs expounded the true spirit behind working of this successful privately owned German company, which is now among the top automation companies of the world. Mr Fuchs has an ardent liking for India and touched the cords of all among the huge gathering of staff and customers later in the day by addressing them as part of his extended family and sharing his experiences about India. Mr Matthias Gunkel shared his confidence that the new infrastructure will be a shot in the arm of company's operations in India and shall immensely help its staff and customers to develop the right solutions, which are so very necessary for ergonomic growth of technologies and markets.

Mr Ravi Agarwal, director and head of the FA business in India says that the new facility is designed to land the latest technology, applications and products from the mother company of P+F in Germany and Singapore and relay the same to all over India. The company strives to provide better services to its customers via this augmented facility and leap frog the quality of application oriented solutions offered to the Indian industry.
