JIMTOF 2012 (The 26th Japan International Machine Tool Fair jointly organised by JMTBA - Japan Machine Tool Builders' Association and Tokyo Big Sight Inc), which is regarded as the largest exhibition in Asia, will be conducted at Tokyo Big Sight between November 1 (Thursday) and November 6 (Tuesday), 2012. The online registration is accepted from September 3 through the JIMTOF 2012 website (URL:www.jimtof.org/). And detailed contents of the lectures, seminars, and special exhibits, which will be conducted during JIMTOF 2012, have been decided.

JIMTOF 2012 will be conducted under the title of Harmony between the workmen's craft and state-of-the-art technology, "Mono-Zukuri Innovation" gathering 691 exhibitors, which is more than the previous JIMTOF 2010, from 19 countries and various areas throughout the world. In order to respond to high interest from the visitors towards production technologies, JIMTOF 2012 will develop various lectures, seminars, and special exhibits, etc.

A machine tools specialized exhibition, JIMTOF, which is regarded as one of the largest exhibitions in Asia, has been held biennially since 1962. In JIMTOF 2012, the 26th exhibition, products of a variety of industries including Machine tools (Metal-cutting, Metal-forming), Machine tool accessories, High speed steel tools, Precision measuring, Control and related software (CAD/CAM), etc. are exhibited, and the latest information of products and technologies will be shown to the visitors. This year, JIMTOF 2012 expects to receive over 120,000 visitors from around the world.
