Bangalore, 18 June 2014: Nichrome, a leading packaging machinery manufacturer and the pioneer in form fill seal machines in India, has added another feather to its cap. The company globally renowned for its innovative and cost effective packaging machinery has now developed an 'Ultra Hi Speed Machine' called, Multilane under its RV series.

"Multilane will mainly be used for producing four side seal sachets or contour packs. It has been developed by using the unique 4-axis servo driven continuous motion technology in collaboration with Prodo-Pak, USA. The machine has been launched for the first time during 'Interpack 2014' which is the world's biggest packaging show held recently at Dusseldorf, Germany," informed Mrunal Joshi, Executive Director of Nichrome India Ltd.

"Multilane machine is operator friendly and easy to set through HMI fitted on a swivelling pendant. All GMP and safety features are built in. Any types of fillers like auger, cup, cavity, pumps can be fitted as per the product requirement. Nichrome has always been on forefront in bringing the latest technology with the highest performance to the users of flexible packaging in India and abroad," Mrunal Joshi added.

The 'Interpack' exhibition happens every 3 years. Exhibitors from all over the world come to this exhibition to showcase their technology and strengths. Nichrome's Multilane has received a great response from the industry. Many visitors from Africa, Middle East apart from company's some of the esteemed Indian customers also visited Nichrome's stall and shown interest and appreciation about Multilane.

The RV 240 series machines can accommodate more than 1250 mm wide roll and can cycle at 100 per minute and with maximum number of lanes crossing 15 it can produce more than 1500 sachets in one minute. This machine is suited for pharmaceutical powders, ORS, gels, tablets, swabs and tissues. Apart from the pharma sector RV series is most suited for food applications viz. seasoning, milk powders, health drinks, sauces, etc., and for cosmetics, viz., lotions, shampoos, hair dies, etc.
