The new BOGE C 4 (D)R to C 15 (D)R screw compressors require less space, are modular in design and are ideally suited to individual applications. With their small footprint, the new models in the BOGE C series, C 4 (D)R to C 15 (D)R, particularly lend themselves to applications where space is at a premium, such as in workshops or medium-sized businesses. Super silencers ensure that all models run extremely quietly - so quietly, in fact, that these compressors can even be used right beside the workplace. They can be delivered with an optional integrated refrigerant dryer, working reliably even where compressed air demands are high, and impressing with their efficiency and long lifetime. Models C4 to C 9 (D)R - 2.2 to 7.5 kW - are available from July onwards, while sales of the C 15 (D)R - 11 kW - will start in September.

The construction principle behind the BOGE C 4 (D)R to C 15 (D)R compressors is both intelligent and simple at the same time: All the necessary components are integrated in an airend, and all maintenance parts are arranged so that they are easily accessible - BOGE calls this airend a compact module. By arranging all essential parts in one compact module, pipework and connecting leads can be dispensed with and pressure losses are avoided. This principle makes the power units in this series especially efficient and guarantees high operating reliability. It has already proved itself in the C series and has been shown to result in high free air delivery with particularly low energy use. Additional efficiency potentials can be exploited by the intelligent arrangement of further components.

All individual elements - from the dryer to the optional condensate cleaner - are ready assembled and delivered as a complete ready-to-install compact unit. This principle applies, too, for all special wishes, from integrated filters and inlet air filtration to frequency converters, which continuously adapt the free air delivery to the prevailing operating conditions. By fitting even more optional equipment, the units become flexible all-rounders. The receiver-mounted C series, for example, can easily be equipped with a refrigerant dryer that will not take up any extra space. The customer can choose between a variety of models: beginning with the smallest model in the series (C4 (D) R) with either a maximum pressure of 8 bar and free air delivery of 0.427 m3, or with a 10 bar maximum pressure and 0.340 m3 free air delivery, or a 13 bar maximum pressure with 0.280 m3 per minute, and extending to the largest model in the series, which is available with a maximum pressure of 8 bar and a free air delivery of 1.74 m3, or a 10 bar maximum pressure with a free air delivery of 1.53 m3 or, finally, a 13 bar maximum pressure with a free air delivery of 1.33 m3 per minute.

The base control comes with an LC visual display and pressure sensor technology as standard. An optional feature, which is available is the modular focus control 2.0 that is ideal for connecting to modern networked production in this age of Industry 4.0. This modern compressor control allows up to four compressors to be linked together. Information can easily be read off the high-resolution colour display, and the capacitive touchscreen buttons make it exceptionally easy to operate. An RFID interface permits authorised users to log-in to the machine with a contactless system. Whether the user wishes to access the status indicator, network pressure, system pressure, utilisation capacity, load and idling periods, or compression temperature - thanks to the clearly structured information using symbols for each of the compressors, users can easily switch between readings on the touchpad.
