Manoj Mittal appointed as Chairman and Managing Director of Sidbi

Manoj Mittal has officially assumed the role of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the Small Industries Development Bank of India (Sidbi), following his appointment by the Government of India. 

Mittal brings over 33 years of experience in the financial services sector to this role. Prior to this, he served as the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Industrial Finance Corporation of India (IFCI) and as the Deputy Managing Director at Sidbi.

Sidbi, established on April 2, 1990, under an act of the Indian Parliament, is tasked with promoting, financing, and developing the MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) sector. It also coordinates the activities of various institutions engaged in similar endeavours.
