Lube Automatic Systems Pvt Ltd, the Indian subsidiary of Lube Corporation, Japan, a leading global manufacturer of centralised lubrication equipment, inaugurated its new office building at Vasai, a bustling town on the periphery of the northern suburbs of Mumbai along the Western Railway route, in December 2012. The India subsidiary, formed in the year 2008, has in a short span of four years made its mark by capturing a large market share in the automotive industry of India, along with other segments like machine tools and plastic moulding machines.

Present on the occasion were Mr Shoki Takeuchi, Director of Indo-Japanese Global Association; Ms Kazumi Imaoka (Steffens), Director, Lube Corporation; Mr Eijiro Horikoshi, President, Lube Corporation; Mr Toshio Naka, Overseas Manager, India; Mr Roland Machado, MD, Lube Automatic Systems; Mrs Delna Machado, Director; and other dignitaries from the region. The ceremonial ribbon was cut by Mr Takeuchi, to formally declare the building open for operation.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms Imaoka traced the origins of the country's Indian operations and how she convinced Mr Roland Machado, now the Managing Director of the Indian subsidiary, to help establish the company's Indian operations.

All products of Lube Corporation are manufactured at the company's two manufacturing plants located in Japan. Lube Corporation's products are used wherever bearings, ball screws, conveyors, high-speed spindles and other mechanical parts must be centrally, automatically and precisely lubricated with oil or grease.

The company serves various industries such as machine tool, plastic injection moulding, packaging, metal stamping, food processing, wood working and automotive.
