Effective May 1, 2014, Dr Jacques Perez has taken charge as Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Lanxess India Pvt. Ltd. He will also be the Country Representative of Lanxess in India.

Backed by experience of over 25 years, Dr. Perez worked for the pharmaceutical industry (Hoechst Group, Sanofi Aventis Group) in Europe, South America and Asia. He has held key positions in marketing and sales, project management, internal audit, supply chain and finance. He has been with Lanxess since July 2008 as Chief Financial Officer of Lanxess Elastomeros do Brasil S.A in Brazil.

Dr Perez succeeds Dr. Joerg Strassburger who had been the Managing Director and Country Representative of LANXESS India since the past 9 years.
