Kolkata - Ipsen India, a leader in cutting edge heat treatment technology and systems, has announced the appointment of Mr Shubhendra Panse as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Shubhendra Panse replaces Ms Barbara Schulz who, after years of great strategic influence, has left to pursue new opportunities in Europe.

With 26 years experience, Shubhendra Panse has worked with organizations in India in the areas of sales, marketing and key account management with a focus on engineering products and projects. His extensive experience with customers from a variety of manufacturing sectors in India and South East Asia makes him a great fit for this role. Shubhendra Panse has also successfully set up and expanded business for several multi-national companies in India.

Ipsen India has recently opened a sales office in Pune. The sales and service teams working out of this office will enhance Ipsen's focus on providing excellent customer service and support across India. The registered office for Ipsen India remains at the manufacturing facility in Kolkata. The company will continue to manufacture several varieties of furnaces there including carburizing, nitriding and tempering furnaces, in both batch and continuous configurations. Ipsen India looks forward to continued growth in India where they have been doing business for 30 years, starting with their first furnace sale in 1983 to Bajaj Auto Ltd, Pune.
