Bangalore, January 12, 2016: Bangalore based Inlogsys, pioneers in providing integrated logistics systems and solutions, announced the launch of i3-SS, the unique Italian designed bolt-less shelving system. Compared to conventional slotted angle racks, the i3-SS shelving system is completely bolt-less which will enable easier manoeuvring, save time and energy during installation and uninstallation of the entire shelving fixtures. The whole shelving system can be effortlessly packed in a single box, which is compact, easy to carry, transport, load and unload.

i3-SS is a bolt-free lock-in shelving system suitable for storing any kind of item, from small components to heavy cartons. Various sizes of open and closed configurations produce efficient storage for almost every possible item, ranging from small components to large cartons and boxes. The flexible bolt-free shelving systems provide an accommodating, modular hand loaded shelving system. Locked together, the bolt-free systems guarantee quick installation & easy construction to ensure that one will never grow out of bolt-free and keep pace with the changing storage requirements.

The bolt-less i3-SS by Inlogsys is backed by state-of-the-art technology from Italy and crafted from a unique 30 mm profile. The fixture gives the racking systems a much better stability and a much superior quality compared to conventional slotted angle racks. Its five-shelf standing shelf unit has a 16-gauge steel rack and shelves made of 0.8 mm CR sheet to support 150 kg per level. The dimensions for size are 1400 x 450 x 2100 mm with a capacity of 150 kg UDL/level. One of the possible i3-SS system configurations is the multi-tier shelving. This structure enables manual order picking at convenient levels to maximize the warehouse height. i3-SS shelving system is painted with epoxy powders with a polymerisation point at 180°C.

The i3-SS Upright is made of cold rolled steel, the profile is shaped into “C” section which provides an extreme stiffness and strength, this profile has a row of special shaped slots on each side of thickness 1.5 mm for easy adjustments of shelves. Each frame could carry up to a weight of 3000 kg.

The i3-SS profile has two types of shelves designed, which are of 28 mm height and 48 mm height, each shelf can carry a weight of 300 kg and 600 kg respectively. These shelves are made up of cold rolled steel of 0.8/1 mm of thickness, the front and back edges are rolled and formed into box sections which are electrically joined to give safe edges, and also electrically attached to reinforcing bars which gives more strength to increase loading capacity.
