Hypertherm Unveils Latest CNC at Beijing ESSEN 2011

Hypertherm has launched the latest computer-numeric controller (CNC), MicroEDGE Pro, with Phoenix Version 9 software, at the Beijing ESSEN. Building on the combined strengths of the MicroEDGE CNC and EDGE Pro CNC, the model delivers customisable performance for a broad range of cutting applications to maximise productivity and profitability.

In addition to Hypertherm 's expertise in plasma cutting including True Hole Technology, recent advances in Phoenix Software further expands the functionality of Hypertherm CNCs for multiple plasma bevel designs, waterjet, and rectangular tube/round pipe cutting. All necessary cut process parameters can be embedded in the customer part programme in the CAM Software to reduce set up time while eliminating common process errors and improving productivity.

Its product line includes handheld and mechanised plasma and laser systems, consumables, as well as CNC motion and height controls and cutting software.
