Powermax105

Powermax105? is Hypertherm's latest 105-amp air plasma solution, featuring a remarkable ability to comfortably cut 32mm-thick metals, and to sever metals up to 50mm-thick.

The system is a culmination of 4 years of research and development, which included time spent in the field observing various metal cutting processes. With firsthand knowledge of end-user needs, Hypertherm has developed a product that even the most demanding customers can rely on for metal cutting and gouging.

Powermax105 is the toughest and most versatile system in its class. On top of its bullet-proof reliability, the air plasma system is compatible with seven of Hypertherm's Duramax torches, which provide flexibility for both manual and automated cutting and gouging applications.

Mechanized Plasma Systems

Aside from portable air plasma systems, Hypertherm manufactures a full range of products for mechanized plasma cutting. Such plasma equipment is designed for high productivity with mid-level tolerances, and can cut non-ferrous materials as thick as 15.9cm. As a result, mechanized plasma is widely utilized in heavy equipment manufacturing operations, shipyards, and steel service centres.

At Weld India 2013, Hypertherm will share with customers and prospects about recent breakthroughs for its HPRXD range of mechanized plasma systems. These include HDi technology for industry-leading thin stainless steel cutting performance and increased stainless steel piercing capability, amongst many other features that will make cutting stainless steel with plasma much easier.

MAXPRO200

MAXPRO200? is the newest 200-amp cutting and gouging plasma system in the market. The innovation is easy to use, and can be operated with the push of a single button for handheld and mechanized applications.

For the first time in conventional plasma history, the market now has a plasma system that can production pierce 32mm mild steel and sever 75mm plates of the metal. In addition, MAXPRO200 has an impressive capability to produce virtually dross-free cuts even on 20mm mild steel.

Compared to traditional oxyacetylene cutting technology, MAXPRO200 cuts at least twice as fast and can quickly transition between cutting, gouging, mechanized and handheld processes. On top of optimizing productivity, the new system offers exceptional consumable life and consistent performance to deliver more cost-effective results.

Durability and lifespan are important features to consider when purchasing torches and consumables. For many years, Hypertherm purposed to develop torches that withstand high heat and great impact, and consumables that have a longer lifespan.
