Pune, February 19, 2016: HRS Process Systems Ltd (HRS PSL), part of HRS Group, UK, one of India’s leading heat transfer specialists participated in Chemtech 2016, the 2nd largest global event for the chemical processing industry from 10-12 February, 2016 at Gujarat University Exhibition Hall, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. At this event, HRS PSL displayed its innovative and high performance heat transfer solutions including Ecoflux corrugated tube heat exchangers, HRS Funke plate heat exchangers, HRS hot water systems and other heat exchanger based systems.

HRS’s flagship product is Ecoflux Corrugated Tube Heat Exchangers (CTHE). HRS is pioneer in bringing the corrugated tube technology for a range of chemical processes like heating, condensation, cooling (water, solvent, and oxygen), reboiling and heat recovery, etc. HRS Funke plate heat exchangers (PHE) is used for processes like water cooling, chilling and heat recovery. These heat exchangers have proven to give enhanced benefits when integrated into heat exchanger based systems. These are custom-made compact modules for instantaneous hot water generation and similar applications. The Indian chemical industry is likely to touch US $190 billion by the financial year 2017-18 on account of increase in demand of the chemicals from industries of various sectors. At present, the domestic market size of industry is around US $118 billion and it is approximately 3 per cent of the global chemical market, according to a recent industry report titled 'Spurting the Growth of the Indian Chemical Industry'.
