Detlef Sieverdingbeck, 46, has been appointed as new General Manager Communication and Public Relations at the HARTING Technology Group. Mr. Sieverdingbeck launched his professional career in 1994 at the Axel Springer publishing group as a journalist on BILD's Eastern Westphalia editorial team in Bielefeld where he had previously worked on a freelance basis while studying.

In 1997, Mr. Sieverdingbeck moved on to FOCUS magazine as a correspondent in the "Germany and Politics" department. In 2001, Mr. Sieverdingbeck joined FAG Kugelfischer AG in Schweinfurt where he was responsible for the trade press. He has held various other positions in corporate communications at M?ller Weingarten AG in Weingarten, Schaeffler AG in Herzogenaurach and Linde Material Handling GmbH in Aschaffenburg.
