HANNOVER MESSE returns to India in 2011 with leading international industrial trade fairs

HANNOVER MESSE, the world's leading industrial trade fair, will return to India from 6 to 9 December, 2011. Keeping its trend of introducing a new show every year for the benefit of the industry, it has announced a new show LASER INDIA for Laser Systems and Laser Technology for Manufacturing along with its four already established shows. The five concurrent fairs to be held at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre include MDA INDIA - Motion Drive and Automation; CeMAT INDIA - Materials handling and Intralogistics; Industrial Automation INDIA; Surface India and the new entrant Laser India. Visitors from diverse user industries in India will have the opportunity to see integrated technologies in a single visit, all under one roof. With more than 300 exhibitors from 20 countries - and big players like Siemens, Bosch Rexroth, Festo, Schaeffler, ContiTec, Freudenberg Simrit among others showcasing the latest innovations - it will offer industry professionals a unique opportunity to experience new technology in diverse industrial sectors.

Mr Wolfgang Pech, Sr Vice President, Deutsche Messe AG, Germany stated, "I am delighted to note we have an ideal B2B platform in Bangalore, one of the fastest growing global cities today, making it a very valuable experience for the attendees and exhibitors. The five shows complementing each other and showcasing a wide range of products and services will be a unique opportunity for user industries to gain insight into new technologies and meet the suppliers."

Sudhir Patil, Managing Director, Hannover Milano Fairs India (HMFI), stated, "The joint presentation of these five fairs has a major advantage for exhibitors and visitors. Exhibitors can find their potential customers among the participants of other shows taking place under the same roof. On the other hand the visitors have an opportunity to see integrated technologies in a single visit. This synergy effect is a well proven concept at the world renowned Hannover Messe".

Information-packed technology seminars that will coincide with the shows include ARC Seminar on Industrial Automation by ARC Advisory Group, Seminar on Mobile Hydraulics by Fluid Power Society of India, Log.India Seminar by Log.INDIA magazine, laser cutting and other laser applications by various international speakers, and Indo German Conference on Surface Engineering by Society for Surface Protection Coating (SSPC).

When queried on why the shows are again moving to Bangalore, Wolfgang Pech said, "We already had plans of alternating the shows between Mumbai and Bangalore. Bangalore certainly has one of the country's best venues to hold large events. In the meanwhile, the connectivity of the fairground has improved considerably making it easily accessible."

The shows enjoy the official support of several international organizations like - VDMA (German Machinery Manufacturers Association), China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, ARC Advisory Group, Indo German Chamber of Commerce, ASSOFLUID Italy and many more.
