At Diemould India 2012, Haas Automation India will be aiming to capitalise on the recent resurgence in demand for high-tech production equipment. According to the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA), demand for CNC machines climbed 20% in the last financial year - around two-thirds of CNC machines sold in India are imported. Furthermore, IMTMA says that demand growth is projected at 15% CAGR (cumulative average growth rate) over the coming five years.

At Diemould, which takes place on 19-22 April at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, Haas Automation India will take two booths in Hall 1 totalling 224 sq m (B1 and B60). Here visitors will find a strong cross-section of models from its class-leading machine tool portfolio.

Among the machines on show will be: a Haas VM-2 Mould Maker VMC with 12,000-rpm spindle and 24-pocket side-mount tool changer; a Haas DT-1 Drill and Tap Centre with full milling capability; a Haas VF-3YT VMC with 40 taper spindle and rotary table; a VF-2SS Super Speed VMC; a VF-6/50 VMC with 50-taper geared head; an ST-20Y CNC turning centre with Y-axis; and a Haas Mini Mill. As always, the machines will be operational, cutting a range of different components under demonstration conditions during the show's opening hours (10:00-18:00).

Visitors to Diemould are invited to bring along products or drawings for a complete assessment of optimised die and mould machining solutions. A team of experienced and motivated representatives from Haas Automation India will be on hand to solve customer challenges and answer any questions. The local Haas Factory Outlet (HFO) - CNC Servicing and Solutions - will also be represented.
